General Notes
In general, most of the function key and control (Ctrl) key combinations are used only in MPAS lessons (Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, Parenting, Social Studies, Science Fundamentals, FORTRAN, Pascal, Technical Skills Series); the Alt key combinations are used in Quest (Reading 1 and 2 tutorials and drills) and PCD3 lessons.
Sometimes you need to enter a multiple choice answer, e.g. A, B or C, rather than enter a number or fraction. Read the instructions carefully.
Use the following key combinations to enter symbols in PLATO. The plus (+) symbol indicates that both keys should be pressed together. For example, for Alt + e, hold and press the Alt key and then press e.
* Note: Mac users should use the "fn" key with the F keys for them to work properly.
