The CMA Independent Study Program is designed for students needing to make up credits or take courses that can't be worked into their regular school schedule. Students must arrange for pre-approval for each course with their mentor before registering with CMA. We want to be sure that students register for the appropriate class and that the credit will count toward their school requirements.

Students may take up to a three months to complete a course, but most will finish within one or two months. Mentor support and technical help is available as needed. If more time is needed, extensions may be purchased at the rate of $100 per month for an unlimited period of time.

The cost is $325 per 1/2 credit (three month course), payable at the time of registration.

Students may register for Independent Study courses at any time during the year and will receive an official transcript when the course is successfully completed.
